The Moderna Exhibition 2018: With the Future Behind Us

Curated by Joa Ljungberg and Santiago Mostyn, the 2018 edition of The Moderna Exhibition – With the Future Behind Us – presents the work of nearly forty artists connected to the Swedish art scene, offering both sober and intimate reflections on Swedish society today, on a natural world that is no longer what it once was, and a future that appears to have already begun. The Moderna Exhibition is a recurring exhibition format, taking place every fourth year since 2006. This edition features both a major exhibition and a rich programme of performances, film screenings and artist talks.
